Wash the oranges peels and remove excess water with a kitchen towel
Remove the pith from the orange peels and cut the orange peels to desired size
Sun dry the peels for 2 days
Melt the sugar in a pan and add the dried peels to the caramelized sugar
Remove from heat and let it cool on a greased pan.
Once cooled , grind it to form powder. Excess sugar can be added if necessary
Store the candied orange preserve in an air tight container.
It can be used in biscuits, on icecreams, and even on pan cakes!
